Web services (API)

A web service (API) is a set of methods and rules for communication with other software. A web service (API - Application Programming Interface) enables simple and fast integration with other systems. Various standard-supported options and methods for data manipulation are available, such as GET, PUT, POST, DELETE.

Swagger methods

Some of the available methods within the web service are GET, PUT, POST, DELETE. An example of a Swagger method for retrieving data (GET) where you can immediately view the available data format and perform testing and retrieval of the desired data from the service.

Swagger methods - responses

During testing, you can directly see the result of the previously selected method. After retrieving the data, the result is available in the Response section, where you can view how the returned data from the server will appear in the system.
